In a story that is sure to make Ted Kazinski suffer from package envy, BNN has learned that both India and Pakistan are considering a "Fed-Ex" nuclear delivery option. Because of the extreme expenses involved in testing nuclear devices neither country has had the money to develop a missile system capable of reaching the other. Now that international sanctions are taking their toll it is unlikely that either will have missile development money anytime soon. Therefore, each has sought an affordable means to destroy the other.
The proposed "Fed-Ex" delivery option calls for disguising the nuke as a box of chocolates or a birthday present. Then, using a Fed-ex account number, either country could send the "gift" to the other's capital. Although this delivery method has its drawbacks apparently both countries like it because it only costs 10,000 rupees for priority overnight delivery plus as an added bonus the package can be tracked over the Internet using the Fed-Ex web site. Said one Indian Government official, "It's as easy a aim, click, and ship."
